SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Abstracts are invited consisting of original research findings and comprehensive reviews on the above areas. Preference will be given for those papers that contain information which are applicable in national development. The deadline for submission of abstracts through our web site is 23 October 2008 23:59 (GMT + 05:30)
Abstracts typed in MS word or Open office should be submitted using the
submission
form. All correspondence will be made with the principal
author by e-mail.
Please note that we accept only electronic submission through this website.
Abstracts will be refereed and those selected will be published in symposium proceedings.
REGISTRATION
The participants should register on or before the 15th October 2008. Registration fee will entitle the copy of the symposium proceedings, meals, and refreshments during the symposium.
Registration fee: local participants-Rs.1000/=; local presenters Rs. 500/=; Students Free.
Foreign participants / presenters US$ 80; from SAARC countries US$ 40.
Registration fee can be paid at the registration desk.
ADMINISTRATION
Symposium Organising Committee consists of academic members of the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka.
Review panel consists of local and international subject experts. If you need any other information please contact Dr. Hiran Amarasekara chair of the symposium, coordinator Ms. Sobadini kaluthota or other member of the SOC. SOC is advised by the national advisory committee consists of relevant state, private and NGO representatives in Sri Lanka.
