International Forestry and Environment Symposium 2010

Submission Procedure

For the preparation of full papers authors are required to use the template of the document. This document provides both guidelines and the document template for the full paper.
You can submit (upload) your full paper through the form in the website.

The deadline for submission of full paper is 5th October 2010, 23:59 (GMT + 05.30).

Papers should be maximum of Eight A4 pages. The author for correspondence takes responsibility for the paper during submission and review process.

Terms of Submission

Papers must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, or thesis).  By submitting your paper, you agree and accept the commitment that at least one of the authors will register and attend the symposium and present the paper.
The submision of the full paper is optional, and participants can attend the symposium without a full paper.

It is strogly recommended to use the document template and strictly follow the instructions provided. A paper that does not meet the reqiurements will be returned to the author(s) for revision.

All enquiries concerning the publication of accepted papers should be addressed to fesymposium@gmail.com

Review Process

All manuscripts are subjected to peer review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. Submissions will be reviewed by peer-reviewers, whose identities will remain anonymous to the authors.

Based on the referees’ comments, the symposium organising committee will take one of the following decisions:

Article structure

The manuscript should contain an abstract. The abstract should be self-contained and citation-free and should not exceed 200 words.

State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

Material and methods
Provide sufficient detail to allow the work to be reproduced. Methods already published should be indicated by a reference: only relevant modifications should be described.

Results should be clear and concise.

This should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

The main conclusions of the study must be presented in a short Conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a Discussion or Results and Discussion section.

All acknowledgments (if any) should be included at the very end of the paper before the references and may include supporting grants, presentations, and so forth.

Preparation of Tables
Tables should be cited consecutively in the text. Every table must have a descriptive title and if numerical measurements are given, the units should be included in the column heading. Vertical rules should not be used.

Authors retain the copyrights of their papers, and all open access articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution license, which permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided that the original work is properly cited.
