Registration

The participants should register on or before the 20 November 2007. Registration fee will entitle the copy of the symposium proceedings and refreshments during the symposium.

Registration Procedure:
Please fill the attached form ( Word Document, pdf, or online google document) and send to us by email, post or fax, before 20 November 2007.

Conference organizers are only able to provide free accommodation for one person per paper for the 30th night on a shared basis and meals during the symposium for following:
1. Foreign participants
2. Participants who are travelling long distances within the country.
3. Participants who are presenting during late afternoon session on 30th November or or early morning session on 1st December.

Registration fee: local participants-Rs.1000/=; local presenters Rs. 300/=; Undergraduate Students who present papers Free. Foreign participants / presenters US$ 50; from SAARC countries US$ 30.
Registration fee can be paid at the registration desk.

Objective

This symposium is a forum for researchers in the field of Natural Resource Management to present their research findings, and network with policy makers and industry. This also provides platform for Industries to present their green technologies and solutions

Submission of Abstracts

Abstract submission deadline is over. For details please contact us. More than 200+ abstracts were submitted and these are now being refereed and those selected will be published in Symposium Proceedings. Authors of the papers will be requested to submit them in full at the Symposium.

Administration

Symposium Organising Committee (SOC) consists of academic members of the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. Review panel consists of local and international subject experts. If you need any other information please contact Dr. Hiran Amarasekara, chair of the symposium, coordinator Mrs. Nilanthi Bandara, or other member of the SOC.

SOC is advised by the national advisory committee consists of relevant state, private and NGO representatives in Sri Lanka.
